Farrah completed her Masters Degree of Science -Acupuncture from The University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York where she practices at NYC Pain Specialists on Park Avenue on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Manhattan, NY. She also holds a post graduate certificate for East Asian Medical Aesthetics from The Institute of Classical Asian Studies.
She is currently working on receiving her Doctorate of Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health Science aiming to complete it by September 2023. Her specialties are in advanced pain management, sports medicine, and orthopedics. She's a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn, a former bartender, Indian classical dancer and Brooklyn music and arts underground scene native.
Farrah spent, over 13 years of bartending in NYC where she had the opportunity to become a listener of so many vibrant stories. Interfacing for over a decade worth of brilliant minds from around the world, it comes easy to say - "NYC bartending was a wild journey!" Pairing that ability to connect and listen deeply with her client's she decided to go much further and pursure learning Chinese Medicine and Science over the last 5 years.
Chinese medicine is a whole system of medicine that was used 2,000 years ago as China's primary medicine. Today it is used in the hospitals of China in tandem with Western medicine.
